Rosemary
Bradley (Jenny) is delighted to be appearing Bonce again at NElU's
Stage Center Theatre. She most recently portrayed Elsa Von Grossenknueten
in the Spring 2002 production of The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. Chicago
is Rosemary's adopted hometown; she loves living in a town where she can
earn her daily bread while pursuing her creative interests. She particularly
enjoys the varied theatre scene. If she has learned anything in life, it
is buy British, but date American, although she wouldn't say no to a night
on the town with Sir Derek Jacobi. "Love and thanks to Michael, it's great
to be working with you again. To my fellow thespians, break your collective
leg!"
Alexis
Gladd (Karen Clayton) is pleased to be working with the Stage Center
Theatre for the first time. Other credits about town include Life and Limb
and Brilliant Traces with Swing for the Fences. She also works at Noble
Fool Theater downtown in its ongoing production of Flannagan 's Wake, and
in their cabaret theater. She also enjoys touring children's theater with
the Raven Theater. In May, Alexis attended a Shakespeare Colloquium in
Key West, FL sponsored by the Liberty Fund. She would like to thank her
husband Tim.
William
J. Mayer (Dr. Corey Phillips) William is so thankful to be working
with such a talented group of people. He is finishing up his undergrad
here at Northeastern Illinois University and working with New Leaf Theatre,
of which he is a cofounder. William would like to thank his friends for
always schlepping out to his shows and his Mom and Dad for everything,
I love you both!!!

Peterson (Miss Pepper) Hey there! Thank you for coming. I hope you
are reading this either before or after the show. . . not during
because you may be missing something very important, much more important
than this bio. "I have fun doing it... this show, not this bio- I hope

Maria
Stephens (Ellen Clayton) Maria Stephens is delighted to be working
with Stage Center Theatre. After graduating with a BA in Theatre Maria
moved to Chicago two years ago. Since then Maria has been in several shows
with the including The Devil Vet which will reopen at the Bailiwick in
October. Other Chicago productions include Floss at the Conservatory and
two independent films. Maria has studied with Players Workshop, Plasticine
and The Audition Studio. Maria would like to thank her parents, friends
and Kavin for all their love and support.
Matt
Stevens (Dr. Paul Lane) is a company member of A.R.F.T.C.O. He has
performed in recent productions of Pulp Fiction, Words With "C", and Clay
McLeod Chapman's ". . . in pieces." Here's to you, here's to me.
Profiles (Crew)
Carole Brown (Stage Manager) is enjoying working at the Stage
Center Theatre once again. She fondly remembers her first show stage managing
that of Holiday (ironically with Michael Buino directing), and all of the
shows she has done at the SCT. She would like to thank the cast, she won't
soon forget, for being such a lovely group of people to work with Carole
would like to remind people that no matter how busy life gets take a chance
to enjoy things around, especially love those who mean anything to you.
She dedicates this show to her family, and especially to her new guardian
angel, Mary. "Life may not be eternal, but the love that is passed on is
what makes you immortal."
Michael Buino (Director) holds an Honors Scholar B.A. in Speech
and Performing Arts from Northeastern Illinois University. He is Artistic
Director for A Reasonable Facsimile Theatre Co. (ARFTCo), a company he
founded with fellow alum Tina Haglund. He has also directed for the Stage
Center Theatre, Bailiwick Repertory Theatre, Mom, I'm Not Ready Productions
and ARJFTCo. On-stage, Michael has worked with Sweetback Productions (Touched
By Jayne Mansfield, Queen of the Roundup and three years in Rudolph the
Red Hosed Reindeer ). Favorite directing credits include ARFTCo's Words
With C, Anatol, Labor Day & Other Plays and Stage Center productions
of Holiday, Moon Over Buffalo and The Musical Comedy murders of 1940. This
fall, Michael will direct ARFTCo's Chicago Premiere of Robert Caisley's
Front and the World Premiere of Laurel Haines' Tales from the Crib.
Tina Haglund (Costume Designer) holds a double major in English/Speech
from Northeastern Illinois University. She is executive director of A Reasonable
Facsimile Theatre Company. In Addition to 8 years as resident costume designer
for NEIU she has acted and designed for The Next Theater, Famous Door,
Sweetback, and many others. Having just finished performing her favorite
role ever in ARFTCO'S Free Will and Wanton Lust, she is looking forward
to producing and designing ARFTCO'S production of Front. She'd like to
thank the delicate flower, the cutest Joey in the world and J.R.S.Bird!
Robert G. Smith (Set Designer) has been the designer and technical
director since 1984. Professionally, Bob is resident designer for Famous
Door Theatre, Stage Left Theatre, Red Orchid Theatre, Remy-Bumppo Productions,
and Plastiscene. He has received seven Joseph Jefferson Citations, two
After Dark Awards, and an Emmy nomination for his designs.
