The Ronald Williams
Library is located on the main campus of Northeastern Illinois University.
Campus parking is by permit only. Visitors can obtain a daily parking permit
from a kiosk located in the southern-most parking lot off the university
access road.
The campus
is bounded by St. Louis Avenue on the east, Bryn Mawr Avenue on the north
and Foster Avenue on the south. The south entrance is at the intersection
of Foster Avenue and Central Park Avenue. The north entrances are on Bryn
Mawr Avenue between St. Louis Avenue and Central Park Avenue.
Public Transportation
By bus
Take the Number 92 Foster Avenue bus to Central Park Avenue. Central Park Avenue is NEIU's south campus entrance. Walk north from Foster Avenue. The Library is the first large brick building on your left.
By train
Take the Brown
Line train to Kimball Avenue, transfer to the number 82 Kimball Avenue
bus. Bus stops at Berwyn Avenue. Walk 4 blocks west to campus. Please
check the Brown Line website
regarding occasional closures of the Kimball Station for construction
during 2006!
Driving Instructions Parking permits are required at all times.
Lake Shore Drive
North to Foster Avenue. West on Foster Avenue to Central Park Avenue. South entrance to campus is at Central Park Avenue. Turn right at the entrance and drive around the curve until you see the main parking lots. The large 4 story building to the east of the parking lots is the Library.
I-90 (Kennedy Expressway)
From the east, exit on Kimball Avenue, north on Kimball Avenue to Foster Avenue. (5200 North). West on Foster Avenue to Central Park Avenue. Central Park Avenue is the south campus entrance.
From the west, exit Austin Ave. to Foster Ave. East on Foster to Central Park Avenue. Central Park Avenue is the south entrance to the campus.
Turn right at the entrance and drive around the curve until you see the main parking lots. The large 4 story building to the east of the parking lots is the Library.
I-94 (Edens Expressway)
From the north, exit Peterson Avenue east. East on Peterson Avenue to Pulaski Avenue. South on Pulaski Avenue to Bryn Mawr Avenue. East on Bryn Mawr Avenue. The north campus entrance is at the first stop sign. Turn right at the entrance. The large 4 story building to the east of the parking lots is the Library.
