Linguistics Department Events

Please join us for the 2009-2010 Inaugural MA Linguistics Research Group on Monday, September 14th from 7:15-8:30 pm, in the Science Building, room S 364

What is the MA Linguistics Research Group?

We have organized this group to serve as a place to interact with one another to discuss current research endeavors and research interests.  We talk and we share and we support one another as we forge our community of scholars.  Our first meeting will be a 'getting to know you' one so please come ready to introduce yourself and share your questions/comments about anything related to research in linguistics -- whether related to current/future course work, master's theses, or degree pursuit.  Students-at-large are always welcome to join us as well.

In the meantime, please let us know you will be joining us by emailing one of the following professors:

 Dr. John Boyle, JP-Boyle@neiu.edu

Dr. Judy Kaplan-Weinger, J-Kaplan1@neiu.edu

Dr. Shahrzad Mahootian, S-Mahootian@neiu.edu

That way we can be fully prepared with all the relevant materials we would like to share with you.

See you there!
