Dr. Diane Ehrlich

Diane Ehrlich (Ph.D., University of Iowa ),  is a professor in the Human Resource Development Program.  Diane teaches courses in the Human Resource Development program as well as coordinating the Leadership in Higher Education track of the Educational Leadership program.
Dr. Ehrlich holds a doctorate in English Education. from University of Iowa with a cognate area in instructional design and computer-based training, an M.A. in English from Northwestern University and a B.A. in English and History from University of Illinois, Champaign. Diane has taught courses in Instructional Design, Consulting, International Training, Human Relations, Foundations of Educational Leadership and Organizational Studies and supervises the Practicum in HRD and Educational Leadership. 
Dr. Ehrlich has published articles on educational leadership, instructional design,. interactive learning, leadership development and higher education leadership.  She has also made numerous national and international presentations in these areas.  She is currently serving as a member of the executive board for the International Council for Innovation in Higher Education.
Other interests include designing on-line courses and working to build the K-20. pipeline to establish connections between schools, community-based organizations, universities, and the business community.   Dr. Ehrlich is affiliated with numerous associations,  such as the Academy of Human Resource Development, the American Society for Training and Development, the International Society for Performance and Instruction,  the Society for Human Resource Management, the International Leadership Association, the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, and the National Association for Professors of Educational Administration.
