Mexico!

India!

The Study Abroad program provides credit towards undergraduate and graduate degrees for students who have completed pre-approved course work at accredited foreign institutions. Up to 18 hours of credit per semester can be awarded, or eight hours for a summer session. The courses in the overseas program must be pre-approved by the relevant departments at Northeastern, and the student must be in good academic standing.

Northeastern students have studied in Mexico, Japan and India. Most come back feeling invigorated and enriched from their opportunity to learn and grow outside the classroom. "I was able to learn on an emotional level; it was not just reading," is how one student described her recent experience in India.

For more information refer to the NEIU catalog, or contact the coordinator of International Programs at 773/794-6651.
